Bike Stolen
Someone stole an unattended bike near the intersection of Maple and La Grange about midnight. A juvenile male was taken into custody after he got out of a truck, took the bike and put it in the car, police said.

Dog Fatally Hit by Car
A dog was struck and killed by a car at the intersection of Ogden and Edgewood about 6:15 p.m.

Harassment
A woman reported a man who approached her to talk about alternative energy solutions for harassment near the intersection of Stone and Burlington about 5 p.m. The man received a warning and was sent on his way, police said.
Suspended License Arrest
Police charged Everardo Vergara, 21, of the 1200 block of La Grange Road in La Grange Park with driving on a suspended license about 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Maple and La Grange. He was given an Oct. 5 court date and released on bond.
Necklace Stolen at West End Art Fest
Someone stole a $76 copper necklace from a booth at the West End Art Fest about 11:10 a.m.
Friday, September 13
TV Stolen From Business
Someone stole a TV monitor and tried to take a second from Blue Stone Pearl Technologies, 333 S. Washington Ave., between 6:30 p.m. Sept. 12 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 13.
Wednesday, September 11
Solicitor Reported
A man who lives on Drexel, between Bell and 41st, reported a man for going door-to-door selling candy bars about 6 p.m. Police said the boy was a 14-year-old Chicago resident who was dropped off by his basketball coach to raise money for a second chance program.
Woman Reports Teens in Boxing Gloves
A woman reported a group of teens wearing boxing gloves in the parking lot in the 400 block of East Shawmut Avenue about 9:20 p.m. The teens were sent away.
Magazines Stolen
A Windsor Place resident reported someone stole his magazines from his room about 9 a.m.
Suspended License Arrest
Police charged Melissa Palacio, 31, of Chicago, with driving on a suspended/revoked license at the intersection of La Grange and Oak about 12:30 p.m. She was given an Oct. 11 court date and released.
Tuesday, September 10
Stolen Checks Cashed in Cincinnati
A man in the 0-100 block of South Madison reported checks that were in his backpack that was stolen in Indiana were being cashed in Cincinatti.
Purse Stolen
Someone stole $50 from a purse that left unattended in the 0-100 block of Dover about 6:40 p.m.

Washer, Dryer Stolen From Vet Center
Someone stole a washer and dryer from the yard at Green Paws, 617 S. La Grange Rd. Police said there was a fire at the business that damaged the appliances and that they were put in the yard while they waited for the insurance company to look at them.
