Carla Leonardo, 63, Radio Personality from La Grange Park, Dies
Services for Carla Leonardo, a La Grange Park resident and a DJ at WDRV "The Drive," will be Friday, Nov. 15, in Hillside.
Carla Leonardo, a longtime Chicago radio personality and La Grange Park resident, died Saturday, Nov. 9. She was 63.
Leonardo, who was most recently a weekend host at WDRV "The Drive," was a DJ for over 30 years in the United States, Puerto Rico and Saint Croix, according to Hursen Funeral Home. She was the first person to play the new format on Q101, playing "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure, according to Hursen.
Visitation will be from 3 until 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Hursen Funeral Home, 4001 W. Roosevelt Rd. in Hillside/Westchester. Read the full obituary here.
