Veterans Benefits- LTHS - adult education- free seminars
Veterans and their families are at times a bit confused when it comes to learning about available benefits. This session, presented by the author, will focus on some of those benefits. (This session is not affiliated with any commercial interests)
There is a Veteran Benefits "learning session" for all veterans and their families at Lyons Township High School's South campus. This session will focus on available benefits from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs and a few from the Illinois Department of Veteran Affairs.
The session will be conducted twice, March 3, 2014 and April 14, 2014. Both sessions are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
Information will include the process of how to submit a claim for service connected disabilities, widows pension, replacement discharge papers (DD 214), where to visit the VA web page - and the Illinois veteran web page, plus a few other interests. Veterans are encouraged to bring their questions too!
