La Grange Schools, YMCA Partner to Help Illinois Tornado Victims

Nazareth Academy, St. Louise de Marillac, the YMCA La Grange and Tischler Finer Foods will be collecting items for families who suffered losses in this week's tornado through Monday, Nov. 25.

Nazareth Academy is partnering with St. Louise de Marillac, the YMCA La Grange, and Tischler Finer Foods in Brookfield to bring relief to families suffering the devastating effects of the tornadoes that hit Illinois on Sunday. Many of those families are being housed at the middle school in the Washington area and they are in need of water and non-perishable food items, according to a news release from Nazareth Academy. They are also in need of goods such as toilet paper, paper towels and plastic baggies.

All of the above locations will serve as community drop-off points for donations now through Monday morning on Nov. 25. All items will then be collected and delivered to Washington, IL by St. Louise Principal, Kelly Zawisza that same day.
