TATES opened in 1989 and has been in the same location in the heart of downtown La Grange for over 25 years.

What is your business best known for?

We make our own Ice Cream on site at TATES and place Free Ice Cream Tokens in the parks and downtown daily for all to find and redeem. Stop by for our summer Hula Hoop Contests and our daily Craft & Scoops. All of November and December TATES turns into a Gingerbread Shop and offers Gingerbread House Craft & Scoops and Colored Hot Chocolate Ice Cream Floats! YUM! 

How did you choose the area you did for your business?

We love being in an area that the kids and families can walk to safely. We are right by all of the downtown restaurants and just steps away from the train station.
