A man reported his tires were slashed over the weekend at Dunn-Rite Plumbing, 821 W. Hillgrove Ave.

Flying Bike 

A woman in the 900 block of Arlington Avenue reported someone threw a bike over her fence about 9 p.m.

Dog Not Looking So Good 

A woman reported a black dog that was tied to a fire hydrant in front of 100 W. Burlington Ave. about 9:15 a.m. and “did not look good.”

Friday, November 1

Man Spits on Cab Driver 

A cab driver reported a 34-year-old La Grange man who spit on him in the 100 block of Sawyer Avenue about 8 p.m. Police told the man to pay his fare.

Solicitation  

Police issued a local ordinance citation for soliciting to Xavier Young, 24, of Chicago in the 700 block of South Waiola Avenue about 5:30 p.m.

Thursday, October 31

Fraudulent Credit Card Used at Casa Margarita

A 57-year-old Glen Ellyn man was given a no trespass notice for Casa Margarita, 32 S. La Grange Rd., after he used a fraudulent credit card to pay his bill about 3:30 p.m. 

Man Reported for Screaming in Parking Lot

A woman reported a man who was screaming in the parking lot of Trader Joe’s about 9 a.m. She told police he was also screaming in the lot a few days earlier, police said. 

Suspended/Revoked License Arrest 

Police charged William Koonce, 22, of the 300 block of Beach Avenue in La Grange Park, with driving on a suspended or revoked license near the intersection of Lincoln and Tilden avenues about 11:25 a.m. He was given a Nov. 20 court date.

Driving While Registration Suspended

Police charged Alonzo Thomas, 62, of Maywood, with driving with suspended registration near the intersection of Lincoln and Tilden avenues about 4:30 a.m. He was given a Nov. 13 court date. 

Wednesday, October 30

Car Backs Into Building

Someone backed into a village-owned building and damaged the roof about 11 a.m.
