Lyons Swim Club takes first at home meet

737 athletes from 8 different clubs attended the Lyons Swim Meet this weekend at the Lyons Towship South pool.  289 swimmers were from Lyons Swim Club.  Lyons scored over 4200 points, almost double over the second place team.  Also noteworthy is the girls 11-12 200 Free Relay record was broken by almost two seconds.  Relay participants include Callahan Dunn 12, Mary Kate Gannon 12, Eleanor Tuerk 11 and Perri Stahl 12.

Head Coach of Lyons Swim Club, Casey Hnatiuk, stated "the coaching staff of Lyons Swim Club is very proud of the effort all of our swimmers gave this past weekend.  For so early in the season, it was amazing how many lifetime best swims our swimmers had. Equally exciting was the large amount of fun all the kids were having, as well as the parents and coaches. This was a great weekend for our club, and we would like to thank all the parents that helped out and made this past weekend a tremendous success."
