SportClips Opening Soon in La Grange
"Men watch sports. Men get haircuts." And now they'll get to do both at the same time in La Grange. The male-focused national barber shop chain SportClips is coming to La Grange.
SportClips, which boasts TVs playing sports, will fill the space vacated by AT&T at 34 N. La Grange Rd. Village economic development director Pat Benjamin said he's not certain when it will open.
AT&T moved to the old Borders building at 1 N. La Grange Rd. in August, launching its "store of the future." Also in that space is Great Clips, another national hair cuttery, which opened in March.
SportClips is looking for a neighbor, as Caribou Coffee closed in the space next door in May. Benjamin said the leasing agent is in talks with a couple of potential users for the Caribou space.
