The La Grange PNC Bank branch at 26 S. La Grange Rd. will close Friday, January 24, 2014, a teller at the bank told Patch in November.
PNC decided to close the branch because of a lack of traffic, and other branches within such close proximity to the La Grange store, said teller John Bachmann.
"Unfortunately, that's the decision that they made," he said.
The branch closest to La Grange is located at 5650 S. Brainard Ave. in Countryside.
