LT Grad Jeff Hornacek Reportedly Hired to Coach Phoenix Suns
The Lyons Township Hall of Fame member had a 14-year NBA career.
Lyons Township High School graduate Jeff Hornacek has reportedly agreed to become the next head coach of the Phoenix Suns, according to ESPN.com.
Hornacek graduated from LT in 1981 and walked on the basketball team at Iowa State. He was drafted by the Suns in the second round of the NBA draft, and later played for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Utah Jazz.
He was inducted into the Lyons Township Hall of Fame in 1993.
