About Nancy
Currently and for the past four years, Nancy Pipal runs her own business as an independent Executive Presence and Personal Style Consultant. As such, she offers many and varied services to the style/wardrobe/fashion challenged among us!
From college students to busy executives, from stay at home moms and dads to active retirees, from special education programs to corporate transition programs, her clients, classes and seminars run the gamut. She is known as the savvy wardrobe stylist who truly understands the needs of the modern everyday person. She has an artist’s eye, a penchant for style and a strong belief that when it comes to style, everybody’s got it. It’s just a matter of learning how to recognize it and then choosing a wardrobe that will enhance it. Her style philosophy? Keep it simple and less is more. More sophisticated, more practical and most certainly, more effective.
She works primarily in the Chicago metro area, but she does have clients scattered across the country in Arizona, California, Colorado, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Indiana, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia, often doing consultations electronically via telephone and the internet!
This past year, Nancy enjoyed consulting as head stylist for the Ann Taylor store in Oak Brook, Illinois and before she started her own business, Nancy earned two masters degrees while working as a teacher and counselor in the education sector. She also spent over twenty years with AT&T Corporation, working as a district manager in sales training and marketing.
She authors a popular monthly newsletter and her readers say she has a knack for expressing her fashion advice in a light-hearted and humorous way . . . making learning about style all the more enjoyable.
Nancy is now very pleased and proud to be engaged as a weekly columnist for the ever-growing Patch.com network.
