Kathleen Misovic, Neighbor

I started my journalism career at City News Bureau of Chicago, a wire service and renowned boot camp for journalists.  From there I covered Naperville, Romeoville and Bolingbrook for Sun Publications, a group of community newspapers. As an associate editor at the National Safety Council, I developed skills working for nonprofits and learned all about staying safe at home and work.  I switched my focus to medical issues as an editor and writer for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Loyola University Medical System.  As a contributor for Patch.com, I am happy to be writing about community issues again.

I live in Brookfield with my husband Paul, son Andre, and rabbit Gigi. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, bike riding and waterskiing.
