Home Sales Up Again in La Grange, La Grange Park in December
Both number of homes sold and median selling price were up in December versus December of 2011.
A total of 12 homes were sold in La Grange Park in December, versus four in December 2011 (a 200 percent increase), while La Grange went up to 13 from 11 a year ago (+18 percent), according to the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors (MORe). There were 16 homes sold in La Grange in Nov. 2012, and 14 in La Grange Park. The median price of homes sold in both Villages also increased over December 2012, with La Grange going to $520,000 from $447,500 a year ago (a 16 percent increase) and La Grange Park to $258,500 from $192,500 (+34 percent).
