The Life Savers Raise Money to Fight Cancer With Bake Sale
Patch sits down with 6th Grader Riley Vires to talk about raising money for Relay for Life.
As of 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, Riley Vires is only $50 short of her goal to raise $800 for her Relay for Life team. Relay for Life is a charitable event through the American Cancer Society that raises money to fight cancer. On April 10, Vires, a sixth grade student at Cossitt Grade School, and her team members got together after school to sell baked goods to raise money.
