Paramedics Report Bizarre Incident, Man Threatened, Child Crying on the Phone: Police Blotter
La Grange police reports, Sept. 4-6.
THURSDAY, SEPT. 6 A truck mirror was struck by an unknown vehicle at Hillgrove Avenue and La Grange Road at 3:16 p.m., police said. The owner of the truck briefly spoke with the driver of a passenger car, which then left. The driver wanted the incident reported as a matter of record for his company. A resident reported at 4:45 p.m. that her ex-husband cashed some insurance checks without her consent. Police were called at 5:46 p.m. about an unwanted person in an apartment on the 300 block of Calendar Avenue. The caller told police that the unwanted person was not supposed to be there for a time period of 72 hours.
