Get Rid of Unused Drugs April 28 in La Grange Park
A federal effort is designed to dispose prescription drugs safely. Residents of La Grange and La Grange Park can drop off drugs at the La Grange Park Police Department.
Tons of prescription drugs have been kept out of the wrong hands, thanks to an annual federal effort to collect and properly dispose them. This effort, called the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, will be held throughout the country from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time Saturday, April 28. Residents from La Grange and La Grange Park can drop off their drugs at the La Grange Park Police Department, located at 447 N. Catherine Ave. Last year, the program brought in about 175 people, La Grange Park Police Cmdr. Ed Rompa said.
