A La Grange man was killed in a car crash in Michigan's New Buffalo Townshop on Sunday at 12:37 a.m. after, police believe, his car ran a stop sign, hit a tree and exploded, the Chicago Tribune reports. According to the paper, police found the 2012 Volkswagen Passat of Aleksandra A. Strikas, 22, engulfed in flames and required X-rays to identify Strikas' body, as well as that of Matthew R. Ross, 25, of Harbert, Michigan. The paper also reported that the Berrien County Sheriff said an autopsy revealed that "alcohol was a factor in the crash." This story was updated on Sept. 9 Kyle Bozick, 25, of Westmont, Il, was found dead on Sept. 4 of an apparent apparent seizure while on a fishing trip on the Whitefish River in Limestone Township in Michigan's Upper Pennisula, Brooke Gennaro, the sister of the deceased told Patch on Sept. 8. It was initially reported that Bozick had drowned. While the final autopsy results are still not available, the family said the cornor has told them a seizure was the cause of death.
