La Grange or LaGrange? Which Do You Prefer?
Let's settle this once and for all. Is there, or is there not a space, in the name of LaGrange/La Grange and LaGrange Park/La Grange Park?
La Grange or LaGrange? We see both versions of the town name (and the associated Park and Highlands) all over the place. A Google search seems to prefer "La Grange," and that's the name used on the official Village website. (It's the version Patch also prefers.) But we found plenty of counter-examples in LaGrange District 102, LaGrange Highlands District 106, Emmanuel Episcopal Church of LaGrange, the VCA LaGrange Park Animal Hospital... Which version do you prefer? And do you get annoyed when people put the space in, or leave it out? Vote and tell us in the comments!

I have ordered a lot of things on line. When I put in LaGrange, I get the message that the address is invalid. When I change it to La Grange then clear sailing. There is also a LaGrange in southern Illinois that has no space in it with a different zip code, of course. more ›
