'Hour Town,' La Grange's Downtown Summer Art Exhibit Unveiled
Last year La Grange was rocking, but this year we'll be tick-tocking. La Grange Business Association says grandfather clocks will line our streets for this summer's downtown art exhibit.
Finding out the time won't be a problem if you're strolling through downtown La Grange this summer. The La Grange Business Association has released the new theme for its annual summer art exhibit—Hour Town—which will feature 60 hand painted and working grandfather clocks to line the streets in the downtown area. The six-foot-tall clocks can be purchased by local businesses from the LGBA for $250 dollars for member businesses and $350 for non-members of the association. Storeowners can then solicit the skills of a local artist to paint their clock in the style of their choosing. The clocks will be auctioned off for charity in September.
