Who's the Best?: Q&A With Scottie Pippen

The Hall of Fame forward held court with the media after conducting his weeklong Scottie Pippen Basketball Camp at the Bulls-Sox Training Academy. The topic on everyone's mind? Pippen's recent comments comparing LeBron James and Michael Jordan.

Pippen was Jordan’s right-hand man when the Bulls dominated the 1990s and won six NBA championships. The 6-foot-7 small forward, a tenacious defender, made the NBA’s all-Defensive First Team eight times during his career. Last summer, he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame and also became a Bulls ambassador. A native of Arkansas, Pippen spent last week at the Bulls-Sox Training Academy in Lisle, conducting his Scottie Pippen Basketball Camp for boys and girls ages 6-17. Viewfinder: An Un-BULL-ievable Season

Thanks to the Bulls for a great season and lots of fun while watching …

Now I’m back in Chicago and attend every game. At the beginning of the season, I wanted to get some new Bulls gear. I was so excited to be back in Chicago and have access to great items to buy. Boy, was I disappointed! I honestly thought I was back in Florida. Stores had a pathetic inventory of Bulls items. I thought to myself that it was still the start of the season, so it would likely get better. I was wrong again. Even today, every sports store I go into has racks and racks of gear for all the Chicago teams—except the Bulls. The Bulls are usually shoved in …

I stopped in at Crosstown Sports, 46 S. La Grange Rd., today and they have all kinds of new Bulls gear. They have some shirts with great designs that I've never seen before. Not only Bulls gear but Hawks, Cubs, Sox, and Bears too! I'm really impressed with their selection. Get your game gear and shop local La Grange!   more ›
