11-Year-Old Girl Tells Police She Was Tied Up in La Grange Basement
Police have filed felony charges against Rocio Ochoa for the physical mistreatment of two young girls.
At 11:45 p.m. on June 27 police said an 11-year-old girl walked into the lobby of the La Grange Police Station and asked officers for their help. The girl told police she had been tied to a pole in the basement of her home, located near the 100 block of Hillgrove Avenue, by her guardian. The girl told police she was able to get free, but that her 9-year-old sister was still at home. Officers went to the home and received permission to search the house. They were able to locate the 9-year-old girl and brought the girl's guardian, Rocio Ochoa, 44, into custody.
