The birth of Charles “Charlie” Kevin Mitchell at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital was not induced and was unique to the hospital.
At 12:12 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2012—12-12-12—Charles “Charlie” Kevin Mitchell was born to La Grange Park parents Mark and Jennifer Mitchell at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital, the Doings Western Springs reports. The proud parents told the paper that Charlie’s birth was not induced, though he arrived nearly 10 days late. A hospital employee said that seven other babies were born that day, but none at a 12:12 time. “I knew it was near noon, but after that, I wasn’t watching the clock,” Jennifer Mitchell told the paper. Charlie landed the last chance for a very long time to have such a unique birthday and time.
