Congratulations to Kit Halberstadt of LaGrange Park for receiving the Sodexo CARES Award from Carey the CARES Bear at Plymouth Place. The CARES Award is Sodexo’s national recognition for employees and senior living residents that exemplify the CARES philosophy of Compassion, Accountability, Responsibility, Enthusiasm and Service. Mrs. Halberstadt received the award for setting up a Friendship Table in the dining room during the holidays for residents who don’t have family or guests visiting them. Carey the CARES Bear visited Plymouth Place residents last week to promote the program. Plymouth Place is a not-for-profit community that offers independent living apartments, assisted living apartments, memory support suites and skilled nursing care.
