For more than 50 years, St. Louise de Marillac School has educated children from the La Grange Park extended community. It is committed to preparing each student to take his or her place as an active member of the Church Community and of society. The school works cooperatively with each student’s parents to achieve the mutual goal of giving each student the best possible Catholic education and preparation for high school.

Many of the school's students consistently advance to the regional and state levels at the Illinois Junior Academy of Science, the Chicago Metro History Fair and National Geography Bee competitions. All 5th - 8th Grade students at St. Louise de Marillac School receive a laptop for use during the school year. There is an Integrated Religious Education program at this school, as well as a weekly all-school mass service.
