More Snow Expected in La Grange Friday and Saturday

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Cook County from Friday night to Saturday evening.

Another National Weather Service winter weather advisory for Cook County is in effect from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Saturday.

Two to five inches of snow are expected to fall in the La Grange area during that time, according to the NWS forecast.

Southern Cook County will likely be hit the hardest, with four to six inches of snow expected.

"A winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties," the NWS advisory reads. "Be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving."

Overnight lows will stay in the mid-20s Friday into Saturday. Saturday's high is 30 degrees, and the overnight low Saturday into Sunday will dip to 13.
