ESCC, IHSA Honors for Nazareth Student-Athletes
Coming on the heels of golfer Andrew Dobis’ 10th place finish in State Competition, Nazareth student-athletes across multiple sports celebrated an outstanding weekend of accomplishments October 25-27.

Two LT students named semifinalists in tollway map cover art contest
Two Lyons Township High School students, sophomore Austin Rice and junior Vlad Malinovic, both of LaGrange Park, were named semifinalists in the Illinois Tollway Map Cover Art Contest. Artists were charged with creating art to remind drivers about the need to drive safely in work zones where construction activity is happening on the Illinois Tollway. The winning image will be printed on the cover of more than 125,000 tollway maps and displayed on the Illinois Tollway website. 

Special Event at the Community Park District
The Community Park District of La Grange Park is proud to present Jim Gill – The Contagious Tunes Tour! This award winning author and musician is excited to return to La Grange Park to celebrate the songs that earned him unique credentials and awards among children’s artists. His songs aren’t just about music but an invitation to play! 

LTHS Hall of Fame tickets on sale
Tickets for the annual Lyons Township High School Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet are now on sale. Three alumni have been chosen for induction into this year’s Hall of Fame. The honorees, Thomas Burke, M.D. Class of 1971, David Hyman, M.D., J.D. Class of 1979, and Alexander Wilson Class of 1987, will be honored at a banquet on Friday, November 8, at the LaGrange Country Club.

The Runner's Soul Announces Run for Pie Registration
Registration is now open for Thanksgiving Day's 3rd annual Rotary Run 3.14 Pie.  Sign up at signmeup.com or in-person at The Runner's Soul, 5 S. LaGrange Rd., La Grange, IL.  1st 1,000 registrants get a FREE Sara Lee pie and a custom, long sleeve tech tshirt.  Early registration is encouraged.  Last year's event sold old 3 weeks in advance.

Broken Nail Boutique joins other Shops for Girls Night Out
The night of shopping, refreshments and deals in La Grange will be from 6-10 p.m. Nov. 8.
