Failure to Yield

Police charged Sharon Johnson, 68, of Brookfield, with failure to yield after an accident at the intersection of 52nd Place and Willow Springs Road around 9:20 a.m.

Saturday, December 14

Driving Without a License, Speeding

Police charged Oscar Malpica, 25, of Cicero, with driving without a license and speeding after an accident at the intersection of Ogden and Burlington avenues around 8:10 p.m. He was given a Jan. 9 court date and released on bond.

LT Student Charged With Marijuana Possesion

Police charged a 17-year-old Western Springs male with marijuana possession around 12:45 p.m. at Lyons Township High School.

Failure to Yield

Police charged Greg Howell, 40, of Joliet, with failure to yield after a three-car accident at the intersection of 47th Street and Brainard Avenue around 5:50 p.m. Police said Howell was driving east on 47th Street and as he turned left onto Brainard Avenue, a car traveling in another direction hit Howell’s car, pushing him into another car stopped in a left-turn lane onto eastbound 47th. No one was injured.

Tuesday, December 10

Man Charged With Hitting Security Officer

Police charged Joseph Morisco, 54, of Brookfield, with aggravated battery for a Nov. 30 incident in which he struck a security officer at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital, police said. The security officer did not need medical attention, police said.

Warrant

Everardo Vergara, 21, of the 1200 block of La Grange Road in La Grange Park, was charged in Westchester with a warrant out of La Grange around 7:35 p.m.
