Cubs Convention Runs This Weekend

There's also the Chicago Boat, Sport & RV Show downtown this weekend.

Have an opinion about Clark, the Cubs’ new mascot? Well, maybe you’ll get a chance to tell Chairman Tom Ricketts how you feel at this weekend’s Cubs Convention, which runs Friday through Monday at the Sheraton Chicago at 301 E. North Water St. Current and former players, like Starlin Castro and Ernie Banks, will also be there. There’s a Wrigley Field Jeopardy game, a kids-only press conference and a celebration of the anniversary of the 1984 team.

Sadly, the answer is no. But you can daydream about it at the Chicago Boat, Sports & RV Show Thursday through Monday at McCormick Place. In addition to gawking at the latest models, there are seminars for skippers, hands-on demos of docking and line handling and an appearance Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. from John Godwin of Duck Dynasty.
