Check Out the Clothing Bazaar at Cossitt School This Weekend
Also this weekend in La Grange: It's Nazareth alumni weekend, there's a fall fest at St. Cletus School and the fire department is holding an open house.
The Cossitt School Clothing Sale is Saturday, Oct. 5
The Cossitt School gym in La Grange will turn into a bazaar with clothes from hundreds of local families supporting the school's PTC. The annual Cossitt PTC clothing sale starts at 8 a.m. and runs until 12 p.m. at Cossitt School, 115 West Cossitt Ave. in La Grange. The sale is a significant fundraiser for the Cossitt PTC. Cossitt keeps 40 percent of sales, and puts the money directly into school enrichment and building improvement programs. The Cossitt PTC recently paved a bike parking area and replaced basketball hoops and backboards at the historic school, which has occupied the corner of Cossitt and Madison in La Grange since 1922. Family Fall and Brew Fest at St. Cletus School
St. Cletus School will host a Family Fall Fest from 12-4 p.m., featuring entertainment, food and activities including a zip line, a rock wall and more. Read more about the event here.
