LT Could Name New Principal Tonight, Adopt Tax Levy

Last LT board meeting of the year is tonight.

The final meeting of the Lyons Township High School District 204 board will be Monday, Dec. 16, following a public hearing on the 2013 property tax levy.

The board could also vote on a new hire to replace retiring principal David Franson, who is leaving after 10 years at his post.

The total property taxes to be levied for 2013 are about $62.7 million, a 3.14-percent increase over last year's levy.

The board will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Lyons Township High School. (See above for more information on the proposed levy)
