FAQ #6: Will I Feel Better After Getting Adjusted?

Adjustments help shut off the stress response and influence Self-healing and self-regulating... Since stress is related to about 80% of all illnesses and diseases, do you think this might help?

People are very concerned with how fast they will recover from their discomfort/pain/illness/disease.  We live in a world of instant gratification.  When it comes to health and disease, it is the total opposite.  A disease process takes anywhere from 7 to 20 years before it shows up in the body.  So do you think that your herniated disc in your lower back pain that research has shown takes 7 to 15 years to herniated, will be gone within one adjustment?  5 adjustments?  20 adjustments?  Or will it take TIME just like the disease process has?

A few things of the million of things that happen when you get adjusted would be, feeling more energy, less pain, sleep better and overall have a sensation of happiness and wholeness.  Every single adjustment you receive will shut off the stress response within the body neurologically which will open the doors for self-healing and self-regulating.  In other words, a Chiropractic adjustment will increase healing and overall health of your body...  How many people do you know are stressed out?  The more stressed we are (physically, chemically, mentally/emotionally), the less we self-heal and self-regulate which starts the disease/illness process...
