By studying and discussing timely issues and reporting its ideas to the Board of Education, the Council strengthens the partnership between the school, families, and the community. It provides a way for the Board, administration, teachers, parents, and community to better appreciate and understand the role that each plays in the education of our students.

The Council meets five times during the school year. The meeting agendas are designed cooperatively by the Council and the administration. Materials are presented by staff directly involved with those programs, and members have a chance to ask questions and respond. In addition, there is a 30-minute time period at every meeting to address other issues of concern to LTCAC members. Meeting minutes are archived on the Council’s webpage.
