LTHS Summer Program Registration

Early in-district course/activity registration will take place between February 25 and March 3, 2013. Check out the LT website: www.lths.net/summer for more information.

Spend this summer kayaking, brushing up on your math or learning to be part of a radio station. Play soccer, learn to cook or join the Rock Climbing Camp. Register for a Lyons Township High School summer academic or activity program. Early in-district course/activity registration will take place between February 25 and March 3, 2013. All registrations must be processed through the Lyons Township High School webstore. Specific information about classes and camps, including the registration process, can be found at www.lths.net/summer.

 

Summer Academic Program

The first semester academic session runs from Monday, June 10 through Thursday, June 27. Second semester runs from Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 19. Students should not register for summer academic courses if they have vacation plans or if, for any reason, they will miss more than one day during either session.

       Academic Program tuition is as follows:

       Resident of District 204:                               Tuition Fee

                   1/2 credit (3 weeks)                            $195.00

                   1 credit (6 weeks)                               $390.00

                   Art courses                                        $215.00 per semester

                   Science lab courses                             $245.00 per semester

 

       Non-Resident of District 204:                       Tuition + Registration Fee

                   1/2 credit (3 weeks)                            $300.00

                   1 credit (6 weeks)                               $600.00

                   Art courses                                        $320.00 per semester

                   Science lab courses                             $350.00 per semester

A cancellation fee is assessed for each class that is dropped prior to June 7 (first semester and annual courses) and June 28 (second semester courses).  The cancellation fee schedule is as follows: March 4-April 30: $25.00; May 1-May 15: $50.00; May 16-May 31: $75.00; and June 1-Day before class begins: $100.00.  Textbooks are included in tuition fees, except consumables such as workbooks.

 

Summer Activity Program

The Summer Activity Programs will run during various dates throughout the months of June and July. Activity Program tuition fees also vary. The Activity Program includes the following camps:  Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Choral, Cooking, Drumline/Percussion, Football, Guitar, Gymnastics, Kayaking, Lacrosse, Learn to Swim, Running, Sewing, Speech Team Camp, Soccer, Softball, Songwriting, Swim Conditioning, Track and Field, and Volleyball.

A cancellation fee is assessed for each camp that is dropped.  The cancellation fee schedule is as follows: March 4-April 30: 25%; May 1-May 31: 50%; June 1-Day before camp begins: 75%.
