LTHS annual festival of student-directed, performed plays

The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents the Donna N. Mavros Student Theatre Festival January 17-19.

The Lyons Township High School Theatre Board proudly presents the Donna N. Mavros Student Theatre Festival. This annual festival, originated and developed by LT theatre teacher, Donna Mavros, tenure 1969-2001, encourages and empowers students to choose, develop, direct and craft their own production for performance. The festival honors the work of Mavros for her outstanding contributions to this festival and to the LT Theatre Department. Senior students who have given outstanding service to the Theatre Department are eligible for selection as a festival director.  The selected students and their casts and crews receive the full assistance and support of the Theatre Department. The student directors for this year are Mary Katherine (Cashie) Rohaly, senior of Western Springs, Emily Swanson, senior of La Grange Park, Kaitlyn Tedeschi, senior of La Grange, and Jameson (Jamie) Yong, senior of La Grange.
