Signing Day: 13 LTHS, 7 Naz Athletes Commit to Schools

The signing students include nine football players, and representatives of baseball, soccer, swimming, volleyball, tennis, golf and cross-country.

Thirteen Lyons Township High School student-athlete seniors and seven from Nazareth Academy signed letters of intent on Wednesday (National Signing Day) to play college athletics starting in the 2013-2014 season:

FOOTBALL

  • Jimmy Mitchell (LTHS/La Grange Park) - Lehigh University
  • Nick Murphy (Nazareth/La Grange Park) - University of Chicago
  • Tyler Van Dahm (Nazareth/North Riverside) - Northwest Missouri State University
  • Pat Vitek (Nazareth/Chicago) - St. Joseph College
  • Aeneas White (Nazareth/Westmont) - University of Indianapolis
