Lyons Township High School's wrestling team placed second in their weekend tournament in Oak Park and a swimmer seeks a return to the state meet for the second time.

The LT boys wrestling team placed second out of 10 teams competeing at Oak Park-River Forest this weekend, the Doings reported.
Several Lions wrestlers had second place finnishes on Saturday with the following scores:
- Jack Bates (145)
- Adam Rodgers (285)

Swimming
LT swimmer Joe Shannon is looking for a second trip to the state meet, the Doings reported.
Shannon, an LT junior, went to state last year as a member of the 200-yard medley relay squad.
