LT Takes on Downers Grove North in a "Salute to Service" Game Tonight: Watch It Live

Get ready for an exciting LT football game this Friday night in . Not only is LT taking on Downers Grove North, but both schools will be playing hard to raise funds for wounded veterans.

To kick off the game, players on both teams will line up on the field to shake the hands of vets who attend the game as they walk in. LT players will be wearing special camo jerseys for the game in their honor.

As if that's not enough, two paratroopers will be parachuting into the stadium carrying the game ball and an American flag as the National Anthem is played. If that doesn't get the crowd cheering and excited for a great game of good ol' American football, I don't know what would.

Players jerseys will be auctioned off after the game and special LT Camo Day t-shirts will be available for purchase for $10. Money raised from jersey and t-shirt sales will be donated to fund the Wounded Warrior Project—a nonprofit that provides aide to wounded vets.

This is a game you truly don't want to miss.
