Football: LT Faces York in Must-Win Road Game

The Lions need a win Friday night in Elmhurst to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Who: Lyons Township (3-4, 2-2) at York (3-4, 1-3)

When: 7:30 p.m. Friday

Where: York Community High School, 355 W. St. Charles Rd., Elmhurst

Last week: Lyons Township suffered a tough, 31-26 Homecoming loss to OPRF.

Huskies quarterback Lloyd Yates ran for 170 yards and passed for 99 in the game, according to HighSchoolCube News.

LT needs to win both of its final games to finish with a winning record and keep its playoff hopes alive.

York lost to Downers Grove North last week, 28-7, HighSchoolCube reports. The loss dropped the Dukes to 3-4 and into a similar must-win situation.
