Golf event to benefit Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital

La Grange – La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation will host its 13th annual golf classic Aug. 13 at the La Grange Country Club, 620 S. Brainard Ave. The event features golf at an outstanding private club located next to the hospital campus.

 

Due to its popularity, the golf outing features a double shotgun start. The first group will tee off at 8 a.m.; the second group at 1 p.m.

The La Grange Memorial Hospital Foundation raises funds to advance Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital’s mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ. Proceeds from the outing will be directed to benefit the hospital’s Patient Care Center. This state-of-the-art inpatient facility promotes optimal clinical outcomes through evidence-based design and advanced medical technology.

“We are looking forward to a fantastic day that will benefit the hospital’s patient community,” said Dr. Edgar Carell, 2012 Golf Committee co-chair. “We’re very thankful to all our sponsors and participants for their investment in the hospital’s mission.”

 

The event hosts more than 200 community leaders, physicians and loyal donors. The $450 registration fee includes: a continental breakfast, a barbecue lunch on the patio, 18 holes of golf with a cart, fore-caddies, beverages on the course, players’ gift, live auction and a dinner at 6 p.m.

 

The 2012 Golf Classic is co-chaired by Dr, Edgar Carell, David Dixon, G. Grant Dixon III, and John Dixon.
