Focus on Hips
This special workshop intensive explores ways to generate fluidity in the hips through both mobilization and stabilization techniques.
The hips are often an area of hidden tension. Because the iliofemoral ligaments that hold the hip into place are the strongest in the body, bringing ease of motion into this primary load-bearing joint is challenging. Also, certain
athletic activities can contribute to tightness in the hips.
Freya will take the class through a well-rounded yoga practice with a specific focus on hips that will include external and internal hip rotation as well as flexion and extension.
