3rd annual Wellness Fair to be held Saturday, September 15 at Waiola Park

La Grange's largest health and fitness event, the Wellness Walkabout, will be held on Saturday, September 15 from 9am-noon at Waiola Park.  This is the third year for this highly popular event.  Over 40+ health and wellness vendors will be present including local health clubs, boot camps, personal trainers, yoga and Pilates studios, chiropractors, massage therapists, acupuncturists, nutritionists, physical therapists, athletic gear companies and more.

Grab your family and join us for a fun morning of activities.  Stroll our vendor booths, ask questions, gather information, watch demonstrations, participate in free fitness classes, receive samples and take advantage of life-saving screenings.  In addition, all attendees have the opportunity to win raffle prizes that will be awarded every half hour.

“I am honored to be part of this local event which helps people learn more about all aspects of wellness resources in our community,” said Sally Head, owner of Oasis Women's Fitness and co-sponsor of the event.  Julie Hossack, also a co-sponsor and owner of Finish Line Fit club added that "being healthy is tough.  We want to help get people on the right track, and make it as easy for them to get started - or continue on their path.  This Wellness Walkabout is all about putting individuals in contact with the people that will help them accomplish that."  Kathi Mungo, owner of BargainsForMom.com and co-sponsor stated “more than ever families are understanding the importance of health and wellness.  We are excited to have created an event that can educate and raise awareness of the many local wellness businesses available to help them achieve their goals."
