Area Nazareth Students Named Catholic Conference Scholar-Athletes
Nazareth Academy students who live in the area have been named East Suburban Catholic Conference Scholar-Athletes.
At its annual Awards Assembly, Nazareth Academy Athletic Director Duane Buturusis announced the winners of the school’s highest student-athlete honors, according to a news release from Nazareth Academy.
The following Nazareth Academy students from La Grange, La Grange Park and Western Springs have been named East Suburban Catholic Conference Scholar-Athletes for the 2012-13 school year:
- John Karas (Western Springs)
- Joseph Mara (Western Springs)
- Andrew Minik (Western Springs)
- Nicholas Murphy (La Grange Park)
- Brian Prendergast (La Grange Park)
- Daniel Saladino (La Grange)
- Sarah Swade (Western Springs)
