Over 500 Tickets Already Sold for St. Francis' Wild West Fest Tonight

St. Francis School's Wild West Festival, a biennial auction and fundraiser, kicks off on Saturday at 6 p.m. and runs until midnight.

Get ready for a wild party at , 145 N. Waiola Ave., in La Grange tonight. From 6:30 p.m. to midnight, St. Francis will host its —its biggest fundraiser of the year under a big tent in the school's parking lot. 

There's a little something for everyone at tonight's event, including over $150,000 in live and silent auction items, a beer tasting, a mechanical bull and progressive poker. Ticket's are $70 and can be purchased online at www.SFXauction.com.


Items up for auction include a two-hour basketball clinic with Steve Novak of the New York Knicks, iPads, an outdoor movie night and a weeklong stay at a condo on Marco Island in Florida.

Funds from the event will be used to improve classrooms, technology upgrades and general upkeep of St. Francis Xavier School.

According to Mary Fitzpatrick, special events coordinator at the school, over 500 tickets have already been sold and they expect the event to be packed.
