LT student-artists take top spots in poster contest

Two Lyons Township High School students were named winners in the fourth annual Illinois Children of Mental Health Partnership Say It Out Loud poster contest, which is designed to promote speaking out about mental illness.

Junior Austin Rice, of LaGrange Park, took the Grand Prize and will receive a $250 gift card. Senior Josh Seaman, of Western Springs, is a two-time second place winner, having earned second place in last year’s contest; he will receive $100 gift card. Their artwork will be displayed on the Illinois Children’s Mental Health Partnership website beginning on May 8, which is National Mental Health Awareness Day.
