LT Latin students find success at convention

Lyons Township High School Latin students recently competed at the annual Illinois Junior Classical League state convention. Twenty-nine Latin students served as delegates to the convention. They attended a banquet dressed in togas, led a discussion on Roman Art & Architecture and competed in Latin academic contests such as mythology, grammar and vocabulary, as well as more entertaining, but no less challenging competitions such as spirit, costume, and t-shirt design. Sixteen students returned with awards.
