LT Auto Show in need of cars

Calling all auto enthusiasts: The Lyons Township High School Car Care Club (LTCC) is hosting its second annual Spring Car Show at the Lyons Township High School North Campus parking lot, 100 S. Brainard Ave., LaGrange, May 17, 10am-4pm. The Club hopes to secure 100-200 cars at the show. This is an all vehicles show open to the general public. All types of vehicles are welcome - hot rods, show cars, rat rods, imports, euros, muscle cars, drag cars, sound competition cars, super cars, rock crawlers and more.  It’s free to attend and to enter a car!

Best of Show trophies will be awarded in the following categories:

• Overall Best of Show (1st, 2nd & 3rd Place)
• 1900-1947: Vintage
• 1948- 1981: Classic Muscle
• 1982- Present: Modern Muscle
• Import/Tuner
• Truck/SUV/Rock Crawler
• Sound System
• Super Car- Viper, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Austin Martin, Z06, GTR, etc.

WLTL Radio 88.1 will be broadcasting live and be sure to catch the LTCC’s very own Engine Rebuild Team in action as they rebuild an entire engine in under 35 minutes. In addition, there will be carnival games for kids and adults and food will also be available for purchase. Finally, don’t miss the opportunity to tour the LT Auto Shop.

Space is limited; auto owners are encouraged to pre-register online at www.lths.net/AutoShow.  On site registration is scheduled for 9:00-9:45am on May 17.
