In preparation for winter and spring program registration, the Park District of La Grange has released its 2013 Winter/Spring brochure. With nearly 200 different types of programs -- 42 of which are brand new -- including athletic and fitness classes; special interest courses; early childhood, teen and senior offerings; and special events like Wine Tasting and the ever-popular Easter Egg Hunt, the Park District of La Grange has something for the entire family.

Registration for both La Grange and Countryside residents will begin Saturday, Dec. 1, while non-resident registration starts on Monday, Dec. 10. Additionally, Early Bird Registration for early childhood and youth summer camps begins on Feb. 1. Individuals registering their child for two or more sessions of summer camp before April 1 will receive 10 percent off of the standard registration fee.

The brochure is available for viewing on the Park District's website -- http://www.pdlg.org/ -- in a new format optimized to be more easily navigable and faster loading. Residents of La Grange and Countryside will receive a hard copy of the brochure. Additional copies are available at our Recreation Center, located at 536 East Avenue in La Grange.

Once registration begins, patrons can sign up for classes by filling out a form at the Recreation Center or by registering online with a valid online account. To obtain an online account, patrons must register for one at the Recreation Center with an official proof of residency document, such as a government-issued ID, utility bill or lease. All programs have limited space, so community members are encouraged to register early to help ensure their spot.
