Denning Park set for Grand Re-Opening

The Park District of La Grange invites all community members to attend the Grand Re-Opening ceremony of Denning Park on Monday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.
The Park District Board of Commissioners plan to rededicate Denning Park during a brief ceremony to mark the re-opening of the park, which had been closed throughout the winter and spring for various renovations, including the construction of a new playground, walkway and parking areas, the fixing of drainage issues, the removal of older storage buildings and the installation of new multi-use fields. This renovation project was made possible with partial funding awarded through a Lyons Township Grant.
Denning Park is located at 4903 S. Gilbert Avenue in La Grange, directly across from the Lyons Township High School South Campus. For more information, call the Park District of La Grange at (708) 352-1762.
