Village Seeks Volunteers for La Grange 2020 Panel

The Village of La Grange is looking for about 20 people to sit on a panel that advises the village on major issues such as parking, beautification, economic development, infrastructure, and public safety resources.

The Village of La Grange will launch an effort to maintain and enhance the village's quality of life—that pizzazz, oomph and utter charm that residents move here to enjoy—as a celebration of its 135th anniversary in 2014.

The village will create a fixed-term advisory panel of people, with a working title of La Grange 2020, who will think about and advise on major topics such as parking, beautification, economic development, infrastructure, and public safety resources, according to the Village of La Grange.

In addition to current commission chairs, business people and community leaders, the village is looking for about 20 residents to help with the initiative.
