Sidewalk Restoration and Two Events on Agenda at La Grange Board of Trustees Meeting

Take a look at what's on the agenda at the Village of La Grange board of trustees meeting tonight at Village Hall.

The board of trustees for La Grange meet tonight at Village Hall for a meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. Among other items, the board will be discussing a contract for the village's sidewalk restoration program, an ordinance to allow Q BBQ to continue outdoor seating and two upcoming events to take place in downtown La Grange.

What's on the agenda?

- Disposal of Surplus Property: The La Grange Police Department has three vehicles it would like to dispose of through a private or online auction house. The three vehicles were forfeited to the police department by drivers who were found with controlled substances or were driving while intoxicated.

- 50/50 Sidewalk Replacement Program: The board will be discussing and likely award a contract for sidewalk replacement in the village. The board has budgeted $15,000 for the program. Residents who would like to participate in the program, can contact the Village for replacement of their cracked sidewalk at a 50/50 cost-sharing program.
